And the top left is where the customer would see the next box or arrows to be worked on.
When a client needed more time or needed more funds to complete a task, they would call the next person on the list who would then send them back to the current box in the timeline. By using the chart this way, the person’s job would be tied to those directly under him or her.
When money was tight or another factor such as relocation occurred, this tool could be used to help manage the time frame in which the project or service was handled. The best part about the Gantt chart is that all the time that was not allocated for a project could be used to make better decisions on what needs to be done.
